Wang Wentao, China's Minister of Commerce, recently held a meeting with representatives from over ten Chinese companies in industries such as multinational e-commerce, telecommunications and auto parts, according to Bloomberg.

Wang urged Chinese companies operating in the US not to bring price wars to overseas markets to maintain the trade truce agreement with the US.

After multiple rounds of economic and trade negotiations, China and the US reached a series of important consensus outcomes, Wang added. He hoped that companies will understand the situation, and respond actively. He also called on them to 'oppose internal and external involution.'
