LME Approves HK as Permitted Warehouse Location for Global Warehousing Network

HKEX (00388.HK)'s London Metal Exchange (LME) approved Hong Kong as a licensed warehouse location within the LME's global warehousing network, according to the LME's announcement. Hong Kong will join the LME's existing network of 32 warehouse locations.

The addition of Hong Kong to the LME's global warehousing network is an exciting development, providing warehouse facilities closer to the metal hubs of Mainland China, Matthew Chamberlain, CEO of the LME, said.
