The HSI opened 202 points or 1% higher at 20,128. The HSCEI opened 71 points or 1% higher at 7,307. The HSTECH opened 55 points or 1.2% higher at 4,650. Carmakers GEELY AUTO (00175.HK), BYD COMPANY (01211.HK), LI AUTO-W (02015.HK) and XPENG-W (09868.HK) climbed 1.3-1.8%. For consumers, HAIDILAO (06862.HK), TRIP.COM-S (09961.HK), LI NING (02331.HK), ANTA SPORTS (02020.HK), HAIER SMARTHOME (06690.HK) and TONGCHENGTRAVEL (00780.HK) ascended 1.9-2.4%. HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK) picked up 0.6% to $78.8 after it reportedly evaluating options such as the sale of its retail banking business in Australia, while HKEX (00388.HK) and AIA (01299.HK) lifted 1.2% and 1.5%.
