MO Wealth Partaking Scheme to Begin Distribution on 15 Ju w/ 183-day Residency Requirement

The Macau Executive Council (CE) completed discussions on the draft administrative regulation for the '2025 Wealth Partaking Scheme.' The cash distribution will commence on 15 July, with a new eligibility conditions requiring individuals to have resided in Macau for at least 183 days throughout 2024. Three types of individuals are exempt from this requirement, namely those under 22 years old in 2024 with at least one parent eligible for the wealth partaking, and individuals receiving disability allowances. There are eight circumstances under which individuals not residing in Macau can apply for the scheme, including residents living, working or studying in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, and those working in Chinese cities within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
