The US Court of International Trade has ruled that US President Donald Trump's reciprocal tariffs, imposed under "national emergency", are unlawful, thus ordering an immediate suspension of the controversial tariffs, a CLSA research report noted. Although Trump has promptly appealed against the court ruling, the order remains effective during the appeal process. CLSA believed this development will favor Apple’s (AAPL.US) suppliers, including AAC TECH (02018.HK), COWELL (01415.HK), BYD ELECTRONIC (00285.HK), and SUNNY OPTICAL (02382.HK).
