In light of the frequent sightings of wild bears in Japan and other popular travel destinations in recent years, adding unpredictability to trips, Blue Cross announced the launch of a limited-time "Bear Attack Coverage", Blue Cross stated. From now until March 31, 2026, if the insured is unfortunately attacked by a wild bear during their trip and requires medical treatment overseas, they can claim an additional cash allowance of $3,000, said Blue Cross.
