Looking ahead to 2026, HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK) expected to restore its Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) capital ratio within its target range through a combination of organic capital generation and not initiating any further buy-backs until CET1 capital is back within, or above, the target range.
